Candles and tapers are handcrafted products. Made in the south of France by La Ciergerie des Prémontrés, using traditional wax looms. The tapers are hand-ladled and the candles are dipped layer by layer, guaranteeing exceptional quality. As an added bonus, the wax doesn't drip, thus extending their lifespan.
Many of our pieces are shaped by hand by artisans. That is exactly where their magic lies: no two are ever perfectly identical. A shade that shifts, a variation in the pattern, a slight irregularity…
These details come from the hand, the time and the material, and they give each piece its own personality.
Rather than “imperfections”, we see them as the charm of craftsmanship: proof that a person made the object, not a machine. That is precisely why we choose them.
