Handmade and hand-painted in Portugal, each piece reveals subtle variations in line and intensity—the hallmark of craftsmanship. Because terracotta is porous, careful drying after washing is essential to preserve the glaze and color. Sometimes, a slight porosity may appear. Nothing to worry about: it's a natural effect that will fade over time. As a precaution, consider protecting your wooden surfaces.
Many of our pieces are shaped by hand by artisans. That is exactly where their magic lies: no two are ever perfectly identical. A shade that shifts, a variation in the pattern, a slight irregularity…
These details come from the hand, the time and the material, and they give each piece its own personality.
